Dodgers 2B Hudson hurts groin
SAN FRANCISCO(AP) -- Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Orlando
Hudson might miss a couple of games after leaving Monday night's
4-2 victory over the San Francisco Giants with a groin injury.
Hudson hurt himself on Eugenio Velez's infield single in the
sixth inning. Velez hit a hard grounder that went off first
baseman Mark Loretta's glove. Hudson tried to change directions
to field the deflection and injured his groin.
Dodgers manager Joe Torre says Hudson will likely miss at least
Tuesday's game against the Giants. Juan Castro replaced Hudson
and made a diving stop on a grounder by Ryan Garko for the final
out of the game.
